Pride in Weight Loss - Organic Facts

Are you sick and tired all the time? Do you have trouble remembering things? You need to get Toxic relief fast! Be energetic and healthy again by using a Detox Cleanse.

Many symptoms like fatigue, memory loss, premature aging, skin disorders, arthritis, hormone imbalances, chronic fatigue, anxiety, emotional disorders and much more are caused by a buildup of toxins in our body. With an organic diet you are able to stop the build up of toxins. There are many cleanses you can do to eliminate the toxin buildup in your body now.

Toxins in our Food: Pesticides are sprayed onto our farmlands. These pesticides make their way into our food supply. As we eat pesticide-tainted fruits and vegetables, and fatty meats, pesticides become stored in our fatty tissues. The brain and other organs like breasts and the prostate gland are targets for toxins. Our bodies are staggering under the enormous load of industrial toxins that have entered our food, water, and environment. These toxins are making us fat. Go to Colon Detox and find out how to eliminate the toxins in your body now.

Waxes that don't wash off: Did you ever notice how nice and shiny red apples are? Or how green, cucumbers are? They are covered with a layer of waxy film that is almost impossible to wash off. Farmers do this on purpose. Thick waxes are applied to almost all of the fruits and vegetables that are in the supermarket. The wax keeps the produce from dehydrating. It makes the vegetables and fruit more appealing to purchase, if they are a bright color. Consumers think that these great looking fruits and vegetables look so healthy looking, that they must taste great. Well most of the waxes used, contain powerful pesticides or fungicides. These pesticides have been added to keep the food from spoiling. Since these waxes cannot be washed off you must remove them to stay healthy.  Go to Organic news update to find out more.

Food additives and flavorings: Food additives are chemical substances that are put into our food supply. They are added for flavor and color to make it last longer. Do you believe that a lot of food additives are usually made from petroleum or coal tar products. Our lettuce is preserved by washing it in chlorine. Ethylene gas is sprayed on bananas to make them ripen faster. All these chemicals are effecting your immune system. The best way to prevent the consumption of additives and flavorings is to buy organic foods whenever possible. Go to Organic Food Facts to find out more.

FACTS:The United States has the highest cancer cases and obesity. Other countries do not put chemicals in their foods. For example, the next time you go to the store to purchase tuna fish look at the labels. See all the chemicals and additives they put in. If you think about it you only want a product that is pure tuna fish. I found tuna that was imported from italy. It had only two ingredients, tuna and virgin olive oil. All the tuna is displayed on the same shelf. I looked at another popular brand, and their was so many ingredients included with tuna.in Here we think that tuna is a healthy choice for our diet. Little did we know those popular brands in water are unhealthy. Look at the label with all those additives, that will put on weight. Remember chemicals and additives are toxins and they cannot be digested. The tuna from italy was ten cents more. To me it was worth it. So when you are out looking for your regular staples, stay with organic as much as possible, and read the labels. If you can't pronounce it then it is an additive. See Organic Food Facts.

Processed Foods are convenient and inexpensive, like white bread, hot dogs, bologna, macaroni & cheese. Processed foods are deficient in nutrients. They usually contain food additives, sweeteners, flavorings, coloring agents, preservatives, bleaching agents, and other chemicals. These foods provide lots of calories and little nutrition.

Be smart about condiments and toppings. Butter, mayonnaise, and a lot of the "special sauces" used by restaurants are very concentrated sources of Calories. If you want to add flavor to your food, try using lemon juice, soy sauce, salsa or different spices instead.

What is organic food?
Organic food is produced by farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources. They practice conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations. Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones. Organic food is produced without using most conventional pesticides. No fertilizers are used that are made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering; or ionizing radiation.

Before a product can be labeled "organic," a Government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to make sure the farmer is following all the rules necessary to meet USDA organic standards. Companies that handle or process organic food before it gets to your local supermarket or restaurant must be certified, too.

Is organic food better for me and my family?
USDA makes no claims that organically produced food is safer or more
nutritious than conventionally produced food. Organic food differs from conventionally produced food in the way it is grown, handled, and processed. I believe you should know all the facts about the foods you consume, and make your own decision. Our organic resource section has many organizations with more detail to help you make the correct choice.

When I go to the supermarket, how can I tell organically produced food from conventionally produced food?
Most organic Vegetables and Fruits are in a separate area. I have noticed supermarkets catering to the public with more organic foods. Some supermarkets have devoted a whole isle for it. You must look at package labels and watch for signs in the supermarket. Along with the national organic standards, USDA developed strict labeling rules to help consumers know the exact organic content of the food they buy. The USDA Organic seal also tells you that a product is at least 95 percent organic.

Single-ingredient foods
Look for the word "organic" and a small sticker version of the USDA Organic seal on vegetables or pieces of fruit. Or they may appear on the sign above the organic produce display.
The word "organic" and the seal may also appear on packages of meat, cartons of milk or eggs, cheese, and other single-ingredient foods.
